A bit about me.
I'm an AI engineer. Before that I spent more than 20 years in telecom networking, Linux system administration, and cloud infrastructure.

I joined an AI team at work. I help others learn what AI can do and how to use it, and it puts me back on new technology day to day.

I started out in telecom networks, which is where I learned how things connect.
Outside of work
I'm a hobbyist programmer, and my side projects usually start with a problem at home. One example is a dashboard for my home network. I like learning a new technology by building something real with it.
Away from the keyboard I do woodworking in the shop, grill, and play games.
Why this site
I build a lot but rarely share it. I'll use this site to write up my projects and what I learn along the way, in case it's useful to someone working on something similar.
